Every year since almost the dawn of blogging I’ve run a Fall series here on The Inspired Room. I can’t help it — I love Autumn. The season is too beautiful to spend worrying about winter or mourning the end of summer.
Who wouldn’t appreciate warm, crisp days and cozy evenings that invite us to slow down? I look forward to Fall every year, so I try to be intentional about embracing the small pleasures that make it special.
That’s what Fall Nesting is all about: intentionally leaning into the season. For me, Fall is more of a mindset than a change in weather. It’s about cultivating a love of home and family, layering texture and comfort, and arranging life at home to better reflect how we want to live.
Fall inspires simple, practical rituals: savoring home-cooked meals, baking from scratch, mapping out a few small projects to improve the house, and getting a head start on holiday prep so the season feels calm and memorable rather than rushed and stressful.
I’ve put together a full lineup of ideas, projects, and inspiration for a 31-day Falling for Fall series, starting September 16th. I’m eager to share, so you’ll see a few Fall posts before the series begins, too.
If you’d like to join in, you can create your own series or posts—I’ll host a link-up on the first day of the series so readers can share their Fall posts.
If you’re new to The Inspired Room and my annual Fall Nesting series, expect a fresh Fall post each day for 31 days.
Don’t miss it—the Fall Nesting series begins September 16th!
