SI received a surprise in the mail yesterday from PW — The Pioneer Woman. She kindly sent me a signed copy of her cookbook as a gift.
Between us, I think she knows I’m not the most confident cook and wanted to give me a helpful nudge. She has a way of inspiring people to get into the kitchen, and her recipes look inviting and approachable.

I was so excited when I opened the package that I snapped a photo with my phone right away — excuse the slight blur. The cookbook is lovely, and every recipe description made me want to start cooking immediately.
As soon as I imagined making those dishes, I found myself browsing Anthropologie for cute baking accessories. It’s a compulsion: thinking about cooking leads straight to wanting charming kitchen tools. I’m aware it’s a little indulgent, but honestly, they make the process more fun.
Come window shopping with me — even if it’s online. I can’t resist sharing the little things that caught my eye.

Ooo, pretty. I’m pretty sure I need this butter dish.

Or maybe this one. Yes?

Oh, OK — maybe this one. You can never have too much butter, right? Let’s just get them all.

And these little chalkboard herb and spice jars — such a cute, practical touch.

My eggs would look delightful in this tray — almost like they came straight from PW’s ranch.

How could I resist these sweet measuring cups? Adorable and useful — I’m sold.

A milk-bottle measuring cup — it feels like it belongs on a ranch kitchen. Perfect for trying recipes from the cookbook.

They call this a “wallpaper juicer” — I spent a while imagining how that would work until I realized the name is more whimsical than literal. Either way, it’s quirky and charming.

Finally, a Farmer’s Market basket — perfect for berries or fresh produce and undeniably cute.
Are you with me? ADORABLE, right? These pieces make lovely gifts for yourself or someone else, and they’re reasonably priced given their design and charm. If memory serves, the priciest item was about $38, and most pieces fell in the $12–$25 range. With these tools on hand, I’m ready to try a recipe and will report back on how it turns out.
This post is not sponsored by PW or Anthropologie, but I highly recommend both. I’m excited to try recipes from the cookbook and to enjoy the little extras that make cooking feel special.
So, what kitchen gem from Anthropologie would you take home?
Do you tend to cook more on the weekends or during the week?
