Displaying Small Trinkets and Treasures: Fall Decor Ideas Day 10

Glass Jar Displays via Miss Mustard Seed

I love the seasonal ritual of putting away lingering summer accessories and bringing out favorites for the cooler months. This weekend I’ve been nesting for fall, rearranging small details around the house and adding touches that make rooms feel cozier. My home is slowly shifting toward a warm fall and winter vibe, and I admit I’ve even started some early Christmas prep—maybe premature, but I’m enjoying it.

Tip: While you’re nesting, look for creative ways to group and display fall, winter, or holiday items together.

I’m inspired by these jars from Miss Mustard Seed (pictured above); they remind me of glass lamps and I’m planning to try a similar idea. Grouping accessories inside jars or containers helps tell a small story and keeps surfaces from looking cluttered. If you’re like me and worry about too many little items scattered around, try corraling them in a single, attractive vessel. It’s a simple way to show off seasonal finds while keeping things tidy and intentional.

Happy fall nesting!
