Classic in shape, wingbacks work beautifully at the head of the table and pair well with a variety of chair styles and table designs. You might have noticed in my summer house tour that I recently added a couple of wingback chairs to my dining table. They are a slender, narrow style that fits well at the table without overwhelming my small dining room. In some photos the lighting made the gray upholstery appear slightly blue, but the chairs are truly a soft gray in person.
I find they add a cozy touch and create a playful contrast with the rest of the seating and the table. Using wingbacks at the heads of the table can elevate an ordinary dining setup and make meals feel a bit more special.
