Wow — a few days passed without a new post. If you’ve ever wondered what bloggers do when they’re not posting, for me it usually means life and projects have taken over. It’s tough to balance sitting at the computer all day and getting things done around the house. I’ll admit I also spent some time pinning. It’s just so easy to click PIN instead of writing a post!
This week I tackled a new project.
Remember the hallway where I hung my command center? The one I kept saying I’d repaint “someday”? Well, someday finally arrived. I couldn’t stand the scuffed, dirty walls any longer. I love my command center and didn’t want it to highlight the hallway’s need for fresh paint, so I set to work cleaning and painting the space.
I’ll share updates on that project soon. (And yes, did you notice my new step stool in the photo? Between my BFF post and this handy stool, I’m much better equipped to tackle quick projects now.)
Aside from painting, I spent a fair amount of time managing our mischievous dog, Jack. You may have seen a mention of this on Facebook. While bouncing on the sofa, Jack knocked over my pretty turquoise lamp and it shattered on the floor. The lamp used to sit beside my white sofa — big bummer. I think it can be repaired with glue, but I couldn’t find my super glue, so for now it’s held together with tape. Very classy.
