Front Entrance Decorating Ideas for Fall

SAutumn is almost here — October is just around the corner. That means it’s time for Fall nesting: preparing your home to feel warm, inviting, and ready for the season. When I get into Fall nesting mode, I dive into projects, decorations, and small changes that make home feel cozy and deliberate. Over the next month I’ll be sharing ideas, projects, and inspiration to help you settle into the season.

This is a longer post because it covers details about the month, including a link-up party happening this weekend. Read on for the schedule and how to join in.

Q. What is Fall Nesting month?

A. Fall Nesting month is a celebration of making your home feel intentionally cozy for autumn. It’s about removing clutter, adding meaningful touches, and emphasizing comfort and beauty. The goal is to savor the season by creating a warm atmosphere at home through decorating, organizing, and small, thoughtful projects.

NEWS FLASH!
Are you doing a Fall Nesting series too?
There will be a link-up!

Many of you mentioned you’re doing a fall decor or nesting series — great! I’ll open a link-up starting Sunday night for anyone running a Fall series on a blog in October. Whether five of us or fifty, we can share ideas and keep the inspiration flowing.

The general Fall Nesting series link-up will appear on Sunday, September 30 at 7 PM PST. Link up if you’re doing a Fall Nesting series on your blog. Call it what you like, but if it involves Fall and home it fits. It can be a 31-day series or a shorter series — any home-and-fall-related content qualifies.
