HHello and happy September, friends. That classic autumn kitchen palette pictured above got me feeling inspired. Even if it feels a little early where you are, I’m already looking forward to the change of season—the crisp air, layered textiles, and all the cozy touches that come with fall.
Are you thinking about updating your home for autumn? I always start noticing different things this time of year and love bringing back layers and warm textures. I was browsing online today and found plenty of great Labor Day deals. If there’s anything specific you’re hunting for—throws, rugs, pillows, or vintage-looking accents—tell me and I’ll keep an eye out.
If you’re in a fall nesting mood, below are some of my favorite places to shop online for homey pieces, plus a few current deals worth checking out.

Pottery Barn often has excellent sales. One of my top picks from them is the leather loveseat in the toffee color—I still love ours and it’s held up beautifully. I’ve also been browsing Pottery Barn for new bed options and can’t decide which I like best; there are several that caught my eye. Another standout item is a distressed blue coffee table that brings character and warmth to a living room. And for a bit of rustic charm, bread paddles remind me of antique wood oars I once hung in an X in a former home.
Pottery Barn Kids is another great source for well-scaled pieces, especially if you have smaller rooms or lower ceilings. I actually found the guest room chandelier pictured earlier through their kids’ shop—those items are often sized perfectly for compact spaces.
Wayfair is a reliable place to browse for a wide variety of home items; I check it when I want to compare styles and prices. West Elm regularly runs a “buy more, save more” sale with free shipping and up to 30% off, and I’ve been eyeing a beautiful bone inlay octagon mirror that’s currently a final sale clearance item. Nordstrom also runs strong home sale events, often with significant discounts and free shipping.

Anthropologie is a favorite for unique, textural finds—right now there are marked sale items that include reversible tasseled shams I adore. Overstock is another place I’ve scored good pieces over the years; they frequently have steep discounts and free shipping thresholds. Urban Outfitters’ home section surprises me with fun, modern pieces and often has extra discounts on sale items.

I recently ordered a runner rug to introduce coziness and fall vibes to my space—I’m excited to share it this week. Look for shipping deals and small discount codes, which can make a nice runner or area rug an easy seasonal update. Joss and Main is offering additional discounts right now, which is great for furniture and accessory finds.
Crate and Barrel is where a friend found an adorable sofa; they’re offering a moderate sitewide discount at the moment, so it’s worth a peek if you’re considering seating or larger pieces. Pier 1 Imports has charming accents like house lanterns that feel perfectly seasonal, and they’re running promotions on shipping and select items.

Etsy remains one of my favorite places to shop for handmade and small-batch decor—supporting makers while finding one-of-a-kind items is always rewarding. Williams Sonoma caught my eye for cast iron cookware; they’re running promotions, and a well-made skillet or Dutch oven makes a kitchen feel ready for fall cooking.

There are also extra discounts and free shipping offers across several retailers right now—watch for percentage-off sales and free-shipping thresholds that make it easier to bring cozy updates into your home without breaking the bank.

Pier 1, Joss and Main, Overstock, West Elm, Anthropologie, Pottery Barn, Wayfair, Crate and Barrel, and Williams Sonoma are some of the places I check for seasonal decor and solid deals. I also love browsing smaller sellers on Etsy for special touches that make a space feel personal.

Finally, if you’re ready to shop, keep an eye out for sale sections and clearance items—those are often where you’ll find the most satisfying bargains. I’ll continue to share finds and favorites as the season progresses, so let me know what you’re hunting for and I’ll watch for deals.
