Friends, I’m thrilled to share something special on The Inspired Room. After more than eight years of blogging I’ve met so many wonderful people. Making friends online felt risky at first, but thankfully I’ve been lucky to meet generous, kind people — and none of them have turned out to be killers, as far as I know.
I’ve met many of these friends in person and have connected with many more whose warmth and creativity shine through their blogs and comments. I also love the readers who don’t blog but still join the conversation by leaving comments or sharing photos on the free community site Home Love Stories. You’re all the best.
Sharing my home has been a joy, but seeing YOUR home is even better. To celebrate my book launch I asked several friends to share an “inspired room” on their blogs. They generously opened their homes and posted photos and stories that moved and inspired me. I’ll be featuring more rooms in the coming weeks, so stay tuned and consider sharing your own inspired room at the end of this post.
Today I’m highlighting a selection of blogger tours and linking to their posts so you can visit their homes. These friends have created beautiful, lived-in spaces that tell personal stories — and I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
Wicks Nest
Kristy is warm and encouraging — the kind of person you feel instantly comfortable with. I met her through Instagram before she started blogging and I adore her home. She shared a “man cave” office she’s creating for her husband; it’s already full of thoughtful details. He’s a lucky guy — go see how it’s coming together.
Michaela Noelle Designs
Michaela contributes here on The Inspired Room and is one of the creative forces behind The Bloom Workshop. She’s a talented interior designer who recently moved to Michigan. Her dining room is charming and thoughtfully styled — a lovely example of how design can feel personal and hospitable.
Fox Hollow Cottage
Shannon shares the evolution of her fireplace and how the room has transformed over time. It’s inspiring to watch a space develop into something so inviting.
At the Picket Fence
Vanessa’s post chronicles how her mantel evolved through seasons and changes. I appreciated how she embraced the space at every stage instead of waiting for perfection. Her mantel is now gorgeous and welcoming.
Reluctant Entertainer
Sandy is a dear friend I met through blogging. She hosted us for a wonderful evening and has an enchanting outdoor space. Her fall tablescape, assembled with grocery store flowers, is simple yet stunning — a great reminder that beauty is often accessible.
Southern Hospitality
Rhoda and I have been connected through blogging for many years. In her post she shares her favorite inspired area — a lovely porch that perfectly reflects her style and hospitality.

Bliss at Home
I met Kristin recently at a Better Homes and Gardens event in New York. Her living room is stunning — a stylish, unique space that feels both polished and comfortable.
City Farmhouse
Jen’s home, with its water views and cozy vibe, is a dream. Her living room is light, cheerful and inviting — a place you’d want to curl up and relax.
Craftberry Bush
Lucy’s home is calm, serene and thoughtfully arranged. Her space feels restful yet lived-in — and her dog is a delightful presence in the photos.
Eleven Gables
Emily’s home feels welcoming and full of personality. Her kitchen and family room have evolved beautifully over time — a great example of how rooms grow with life.
Fieldstone Hill
Darlene’s house feels storybook-like with charming stone details. Her post shares candid, funny “keeping it real” moments alongside beautiful rooms — a warm, relatable read.
Finding Home Farms
Laura’s kitchen renovation became a place for family memories and everyday life. She also has a forthcoming DIY metal craft book, which complements the spirit of creative home projects.
Below is the list of bloggers joining The Inspired Room Tour:
Isn’t this fun? I’ve always wanted to organize a tour of bloggers’ inspired rooms but felt overwhelmed by how many wonderful bloggers there are. The solution was simple: instead of choosing a few, invite everyone to join. If you’re reading this, you’re part of the family too.

To celebrate the virtual book launch of The Inspired Room coffee table book, I invite you to join the tour by sharing your inspired room. Tell us what makes the room meaningful, how it has changed over time, or share funny, honest moments that photos don’t always capture. Not a blogger? Join Home Love Stories and post your tour there.

As a thank you for participating, I’m offering a giveaway open to everyone who shares a valid post. The grand prize is a $300 gift card and runners-up will receive my favorite copper mugs.
To enter, submit the URL to your room post using the entry form. Your post must be published on a blog, YouTube, or Home Love Stories to qualify. Follow the entry details in the form to make sure your submission is included.
Thank you for your support and for celebrating The Inspired Room book with me. Your posts, reviews and kind words mean so much.
If you’d like to see more about the book, visit the book page to view details and the book trailer.
