Stylish Mirrored Closet Doors: Design Ideas and Buying Guide

Happy Monday! After sharing my master bedroom makeover a few weeks ago, many readers asked whether we still have the mirrored closet doors. The answer is yes — they’re still in place.

I took a couple of phone photos last night so you can see them in the room (and Lily popped into the frame to say hello).

I’ve thought about replacing the doors, and I may do that someday, but for now they work well. The mirrors make the small room feel larger and bounce light around, which brightens the space. It’s also convenient to have a full-length mirror handy when getting dressed in the morning.

Replacing the doors hasn’t been a priority, and I have a possible future project that could require moving them, so I’m waiting until I know the plan before making changes. The white frames blend in nicely for now, so they’re acceptable while I decide.

I do think one mirrored set is enough in this bedroom. We have a second set on the opposite wall, and if I were to change just one, I’d replace the far-side set. That would soften the look of the room and stop the mirror from reflecting people as they walk in or from bouncing the room’s image down the hallway.

So, that solves the mystery of the mirrored doors!

Do you have home projects that sit at the bottom of a very long list but you still plan to get to them someday?
