Do you have a home office? Whether you need a dedicated workspace or just a small area to manage household tasks and hobbies, a well-organized office makes daily life easier. I’ve been thinking about organization lately as I prepare to reorganize my own office and settle back into a steady routine.
I’ve run my business from home for more than ten years, and every move or change in how we use our rooms has required me to rethink where and how I work. Making the most of the space I have directly affects my productivity—and sometimes the lack of it, too.
Last year was hectic: finishing a book, having two of our three kids move back home for a time, and navigating the disruptions of stay-at-home life. Now that my daughter Courtney has moved into her own apartment again, I’ve reclaimed some space and I’m excited to reconfigure it. I’ll share my plans soon, but first I wanted to gather a few home office ideas that are inspiring me. I hope they spark ideas for your space as well.
