I love hanging baskets on my door for seasonal flowers. They make it simple to display a fresh spring bouquet, some branches, or clipped greenery from the yard. Our basket hangs from a ribbon secured between the two parts of the Dutch front door. We even had a similar spring door basket at our previous house.
Keeping things simple is my favorite kind of DIY.

Look for simple baskets with a shallow depth and a comfortable handle—these work best for tucking in a mix of flowers and foliage. A ribbon or fabric strip tied to a secure spot on the door keeps the basket at eye level and easy to swap out when you want a fresh arrangement.
When arranging, start with a base of greenery or larger branches for structure, then add focal flowers and smaller filler blooms for texture. Cut stems at an angle and remove excess leaves so the arrangement stays fresh longer. If you prefer a no-water option, use a small wrapped floral foam or a glass jar tucked neatly inside the basket.
Choose seasonal blooms for an affordable, ever-changing look. In spring, tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, and flowering branches create a bright, welcoming display. Mixing in garden clippings like lilac or forsythia adds fragrance and a natural feel.
Find similar hanging door baskets by exploring home decor shops and seasonal garden centers—look for lightweight baskets, sturdy handles, and neutral colors that complement your door.
Happy Easter, friends!
