I‘ve been puttering around the house again — it’s my kind of creative therapy. Rearranging accessories, mixing old and new pieces, and combining different textures and finishes is a simple way to refresh a room. A few weeks ago I brought home a new coffee table and I love the rustic character it adds to our family room. It’s the kind of furniture you can rest your feet on, decorate freely, and not worry about spills. Having a fresh surface to style for the season is so satisfying, and a touch of spring green always lifts my spirits.
Even if the weather is still gloomy, bringing live plants indoors breathes life into a space and reminds me that days are getting longer and warmer. Small pots of green instantly brighten a room and make a coffee table vignette feel fresh and inviting.
Soon I’ll be outside puttering in the garden and enjoying the spring air again. For now, I’m content to style my new table with little bursts of color, natural textures, and well-loved books that make the space feel personal and lived-in.
