House Beautiful
I am SO ready for spring.
We’ve had sunshine this week — yes, I’m in Seattle, where rain is the norm — and the unexpected bright weather has put me in full spring fever. That brief touch of sun on my face has me longing to get outside and plant flowers.
Our new yard is mostly bare at the moment, so it will take time and effort before it fills in with blooms. Still, I’m excited to begin planning and planting; starting small and watching things grow feels like the perfect way to welcome the season.

I’m especially drawn to that farmhouse sink and the countertop in the photo — they make me miss my old kitchen. But progress happens one step at a time, and I’m looking forward to making this new house feel like home.
