Coffee Table – Indoor Furniture Blowout Sale
This post is sponsored by World Market.
HHello! Kylee here. It’s been a little while since I checked in about my Seattle townhouse, so I wanted to say hello and share a few updates. I’m still here and still always tinkering with the house.

We bought this townhouse four years ago. We enjoy living here, but we’re open to change. There are several updates and projects I’ve been mulling over and I wanted to share the ideas and progress with you.

What hasn’t changed:
Although I’m always tweaking things, one item that has stayed the same is our coffee table. My mom bought it at World Market about five years ago and gave it to us when we moved in. It’s a reminder that when you’re setting up a home, it’s smart to invest in pieces that are durable, affordable and timeless.
This same coffee table is currently part of World Market’s Indoor Furniture Blowout and is on sale for a very good price. I love that World Market offers strong style and quality without breaking the bank.
I’ve picked out a few of my favorite sale items and I have several of them saved in my cart.

The coffee table has held up really well over the years. It’s sturdy and wears beautifully, even though we use it frequently — sometimes as a spot for quick meals since we don’t have a formal dining table.

What is always changing:
Something that changes more often in our living room is the wall behind the sofa. Art and wall decor are my ongoing challenges — I’m picky about what I hang. In the past I’ve used temporary pieces like wrapping paper or my own paintings while I figure things out.
Recently I started creating a gallery wall using art I’ve been collecting. It’s still a work in progress and not exactly how I want it yet, so expect more changes. Do you have a wall like that that’s always evolving? I enjoy the process of trying different arrangements until it feels right.

What I’m thinking of changing:
One major project I’ve been seriously considering is a kitchen makeover. I’ve thought about it since we moved in — the kitchen feels dark and I’d love to brighten it. A full kitchen remodel is more involved and costly than swapping art or furniture, so there’s a lot to weigh. I’ll share more ideas and inspiration for the kitchen in a future post and would love to hear your suggestions.

What big change could be on the horizon:
Our long-term dream is to buy a house with more space and a larger yard. Given how competitive and expensive the Seattle market is, finding the right home feels challenging. Sometimes we consider staying in the townhouse for another five years and making it more suited to how we want to live. Townhouses here tend to hold their value, so resale isn’t a major concern for us and we’d be comfortable making updates while we remain here.

What changes I’ll be sharing with you soon:
I make changes because I want to love where we live. Soon I’ll share updates to the master bedroom, plans for my office makeover, and more kitchen inspiration. In the meantime you can find me on Instagram.
What do you change most in your home? Or what would you like to change if you could? I’d love to hear your ideas in the comments!
