IIf you want an easy, reliable way to style your coffee table this fall, try the simple formula I share in my book The Inspired Room.
Tray + Books + Plant + Decorative Object
This combination works any time of year. Start with a tray to anchor the arrangement, add a stack of books for height and interest, a plant or floral element for texture and life, and finish with a decorative object to reflect your personal style. Swap items in and out to fit the season and the mood you want to create.
Choose a variety of seasonal elements, mix materials and colors you love, and edit until the balance feels right. The key is to keep it layered but uncluttered: vary heights, include something natural and include one item with visual weight to ground the grouping.
