Round Kitchen Mirror Ideas: Stylish Round Mirrors for Your Space

I love round mirrors. In a home filled with squares and rectangles, a circular shape softens the space and adds visual interest.

I recently installed a large, whimsical round wood ship-portal mirror in our kitchen, and it makes such a bold statement. I’m absolutely smitten. The mirror is rustic, playful, and full of texture—a unique blend of modern sunburst and coastal portal styles that looks even better in person than I expected.

At first I worried it might overwhelm the space, but it turned out to be the perfect focal point. Often we choose accessories that are safe or predictable, but one well-considered statement piece can transform a room. The warm wood of the mirror complements our wood floors and provides a pleasing contrast to the sleek white quartz counters. And the round form finishes the space beautifully, balancing all the rectangular lines in the room.

I’d share more of this charming kitchen corner, but I’m saving some shots for the full kitchen reveal, coming soon. I do have new light fixtures to show you before that big reveal, so stay tuned. You’ve been patient as I update the kitchen, and I’ve been sharing each new piece as it arrives. Seeing the whole room together will give a much clearer sense of the flow and how the style ties the space into the rest of the home—not just a picture-perfect corner, but a cohesive, livable room from every angle.

Speaking of round mirrors, I added a few others this past year. One hangs above my bed, and another new round mirror now adorns the powder room—I’ll share that makeover in the next day or two. The powder room turned out so cute, and I’m thrilled it’s finally finished.

Also? I’m pretty happy to see tulips again. Aren’t you? Spring is on its way.

The rustic round wood mirror featured here was provided by a home decor shop. It was given to The Inspired Room for this post, and as always my opinions and decorating choices are my own.
