Fall is on its way. We haven’t quite had to break out the rain boots full-time, but the season is changing and it’s the perfect time to prepare the yard and patio for wetter weather.
When rainy days return, patio cushions need a dry place to live. For years we simply tossed cushions, pillows, and outdoor rugs into our main shed for the off-season. This spring, though, my husband noticed our cushion collection had grown so much we either had to declutter or find a new storage solution.
We wanted something practical and tidy that would free up space in the main shed for garden tools and our new lawn mower. After considering several options, we decided to treat the backyard the same way we treat the interior of our home: use a dedicated, compact storage cabinet for specific items. In other words, add a small outdoor shed.
