Hey friends! I’m thrilled to share some exciting news: I’ve partnered with Scripps Networks, the leader in lifestyle programming behind HGTV, DIY Network, Food Network, Travel Channel and Cooking Channel, to bring fresh video inspiration directly to you, my readers.
Scripps Networks is now providing high-quality video content on my new video section. I’m really excited about this opportunity to feature professional video content that I know you’ll enjoy. And no, I don’t have to film these myself—though maybe someday! For now, I’ll leave the production to the experts.
I’ve created a brand new section on the blog dedicated to these short, engaging videos, similar to my Room Tours and DIY pages. You’ll find tips and ideas covering everything from holiday decorating and beautiful living rooms to DIY remodeling and makeover shows featuring HGTV designers.
If you like to relax and watch decorating programs in the evening, the new video section will be a great resource. I’m adding a banner and a tab across the top of the blog soon to make the videos easy to find, and I’ll occasionally highlight videos I think you’ll love.
Once you visit the video pages, you can browse the entire library by using the page numbers at the bottom and click any video to watch. If you prefer categories, use the drop-down menu in the right sidebar to filter by topic, or click any category link shown beneath a video to see related content.
Many players include multiple related videos inside the same player. If you see a list of titles under a player, you can pick a single video or click play to watch them sequentially. Each video also has its own volume control, so you can adjust sound to your preference.
It’s easy to get started—spend a few minutes exploring and you’ll quickly get the hang of it. We’ll be adding new videos regularly, so check back often for fresh content. Tell me which videos you enjoy and I’ll try to add more like them.
