I don’t think I’ve ever properly introduced you to my housekeeper. I’ve mentioned her a few times on social media, so some of you may already know her, but for those who don’t—let me tell you about Roomba.
Her name is Roomba, and she’s a compact, round little machine that has become part of our household routine. I’ve had her for a couple of years now and she’s been a wonderful help. She keeps our floors tidy with minimal effort on my part, so I honestly can’t imagine living without her.
Roomba moves around the house collecting dust bunnies, stray dog hair—even from dogs that don’t shed much—and whatever grit or sand gets tracked in. She’s effective on hard floors and rugs, and she even climbs up and over rug edges with ease. She maneuvers under beds and furniture, reaching spots that are easy to miss during regular cleaning.
Having a robot vacuum like Roomba has been a game changer. I used to think a device like this was more of a luxury than a necessity, but it’s proven to be incredibly useful for keeping up with everyday messes. The convenience of a small helper maintaining the floors daily is surprisingly freeing.
