Milk does a body (and soul) good
Is there anything more endearing on a child — or an adult — than the frothy white mustache left after a big gulp of ice-cold milk?
The current got milk? campaign celebrates this timeless favorite in its simplest form. Today’s dairy milk remains an honest product with just two main ingredients: milk and vitamin D3.
To promote good nutrition and support community programs, got milk? partnered with THINK Together, Bay Area Community Resources and Central Valley Afterschool Foundation. These organizations provide nutrition education and after-school activities across California, a region long associated with American dairy.
From July 9 through August 5 you can purchase a limited-edition set of drinking glasses at gotmilk.com/glasses. The retro-inspired glasses are affordable, stylish and created to raise funds for a cause — proving that practical items can also be fashionable.
The $15 set (shipping included) includes two etched glasses: one labeled with the straightforward ingredients of real milk, and the other displaying a long list of processed-sounding additives and stabilizers. The contrast is meant to spark conversations — can you pronounce gluconate or carrageenan?
All proceeds benefit programs that teach kids the importance of healthy eating and active lifestyles. Buying the set is a simple, tangible way to support nutrition education while enjoying a classic beverage.
