After Christmas my mantel felt a little sad, so I did what always cheers me up and refreshes the home: I puttered. I gathered a few brighter bits from around the house and spent the week arranging them—my quick home therapy to shake off the winter doldrums.
The result? Out with the winter slump and in with spring. Below I’ll show what I styled on the mantel, along with a few mood-board photos and links to our Spring Shop and curated finds.

Here’s what I arranged on the spring mantel:
Cordless lamps that provide soft, movable light and make styling easy.
A white ceramic bunny for a playful, seasonal touch.
A stack of antique books to add texture and a cozy, collected feeling.
A green-and-white striped scalloped pot holding an orchid—fresh and classic for spring.
A smooth shell for a subtle nod to the coast and natural elements.
A rattan candleholder topped with a small moss ball that reads like an impromptu DIY topiary—adds warmth and organic shape.

I’m also excited to announce that our annual Spring Shop is live. It’s full of curated pieces and styling ideas to help you bring a fresh, spring feeling into your home without a major overhaul.
Below are a few pretty spring decor mood boards to inspire your own mantel or vignette. You’ll find many of these items and similar selections in the Spring Shop.
We’ll update the Spring Shop throughout the season, so if you’d like to bookmark it for later, it’s a good place to check back for new accessories and gift ideas. You can also find more curated finds in my Amazon storefront and Cottage by the Sea Home Shop.
