WELCOME, FRIENDS!
The nesting season is here — a time many of us look forward to all year!
Whether this series is familiar to you or you’re joining for the first time, it’s a lovely moment to begin together.
What is fall nesting?
Fall nesting is more than a date on the calendar; it’s a mindset. It’s the gentle shift inward when we begin to make our homes cozier, more intentional, and full of comfort.
This season doesn’t have to wait for a perfect temperature or an exact date. Embracing fall with a nesting mindset is not rushing the end of summer — it’s choosing to slow down and savor the change.
To me, fall is the opposite of hurry. It invites mindfulness, purpose, and calm. It’s a natural evolution toward all things homey and heartwarming.
Of course, a home should feel like a sanctuary year-round, but autumn naturally nudges us to tend to that sanctuary with extra care.

This season invites us to turn inward and create a warm, welcoming space.
The Fall Nesting series celebrates the rituals and small practices that make home life feel nurturing.
It’s remembering and practicing comforting nesting rituals.
It’s gathering and nurturing the people we love in our home.
It’s the gentle art of making our nest as cozy and inviting as possible.
It’s awakening the senses so we can fully savor the place we call home.
It’s expressing gratitude for the season we’re in.
I’m excited to share how I’m making my own home cozier this fall and to offer ideas to inspire you.

A few quick notes before you begin your own nesting:
I’ve created a series start page where I’ll add links to each Fall Nesting post so you can easily find everything in one place. You’ll also be able to watch our Fall Nesting video there — a great way to gather ideas and see how others are creating cozy spaces.
When you download your print or update your home, tag your photos with #fallnesting so we can enjoy your seasonal style.
Please let us know you’re following along — leave a comment to say hi and share what you’re most looking forward to this season.
Tomorrow I’ll share a few simple ways I’ve added autumn vibes to my kitchen — hope to see you back here!
