Hello, friends. How are you? Are you excited because fall is almost here? I can’t blame you—I’m definitely feeling it. I’ve been getting emails asking when Fall Nesting will start, and I’m thrilled so many of you are looking forward to it. If you’re not a big fan of fall, thanks for humoring me!
If you’re new, each year I host a Fall Nesting series. Some years I’ve done long stretches—31 days was one memorable attempt—but I realized that daily posts for a whole month can be a bit much for both of us.
At the same time, 31 days hardly feels like enough. You know how that goes: fall deserves more attention.
This year I’m choosing to approach it differently. I’ll share fall nesting content as often as inspiration strikes. It’s my blog, after all, and fall only comes once a year—so I don’t want to limit the celebration to a set number of days.
I’m calling it 90 days of Fall Nesting in spirit, but more practically, I’ve planned a series called 21 Days of Loving Fall.
These posts won’t necessarily run 21 days straight, but I’ll publish 21 individual entries across the season featuring things I love about fall: cozy ideas, seasonal projects, family traditions, decorating tips, and simple pleasures. If I end up sharing more than 21 posts, great—if not, 21 feels manageable and will still bring plenty of autumn inspiration. Either way, you’ll hear from me often—I always have ideas about nesting, comfort, and cozy spaces.
I’ve already slipped in several fall posts because I couldn’t wait, so consider us off to a head start. Below I’ve linked six fall posts I’ve published so far this season to help you catch up.
This year I’m especially excited because I’ve been invited to join two online fall home tours. You’ll be able to peek into how I’m decorating and nesting for the season. The first tour is on September 15th, and the second—featuring different rooms and ideas—will be on September 23rd. I’ll share details so you can follow along with the other participating bloggers.
Also—some very exciting magazine news is coming soon. I can’t wait to share more about that!
