Greetings! Here’s a festive, crowd-pleasing holiday drink we’ve been enjoying at our house. It’s perfect for holiday gatherings, quiet winter evenings, or New Year’s celebrations. I’ve been trying to spend more time with family during the season, but I wanted to share this recipe you saw on my Instagram — finally, here it is!
We first made this over Thanksgiving and loved how pretty and seasonal it looked. It’s easy to adapt, so if you prefer a non-alcoholic version just omit the wine and bourbon and use extra sparkling apple cider. Either way, it’s bright, fruity, and full of warm holiday flavor.

I’ll be back soon with some behind-the-scenes snapshots from our week and to wish you a proper Merry Christmas from our home to yours. In the meantime, save this recipe and enjoy—it’s a lovely addition to any holiday menu.

Festive Holiday Sangria:
You will need:
- 1 Granny Smith apple, chopped
- 1 Honeycrisp apple, chopped
- 1 orange, chopped (rind may be left on)
- 1–2 cups whole cranberries
- 1 bottle Pinot Grigio
- 1 bottle sparkling apple cider
- 1/2 cup bourbon (optional)
- Rosemary sprigs for garnish
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher and stir well. Chill until ready to serve so the flavors meld and the fruit infuses the liquid.
Garnish each glass with a rosemary sprig. For a festive touch, dampen the rosemary and roll it in sugar for a sparkling finish.
Enjoy warm company and a bright, seasonal drink—whether served at a holiday party or as a cozy treat any winter evening.
