Even though I’m holding on to summer weather as long as I can here in Seattle, I’m feeling the pull of autumn more each day. The cooler mornings, the softer light, and the urge to slow down make this season one of my favorites.
One of the things I love most about fall is creating cozy moments in the kitchen. Lately we’ve been adding freshly ground nutmeg and cinnamon to our homemade oat milk lattes each morning. I’ve been planning comforting seasonal meals, and yesterday my daughter Courtney baked a fall-inspired apple pie — the same recipe I’ve shared before — that filled the house with warm, inviting aromas.
It’s starting to feel truly like fall here. Do you have favorite traditions, recipes, or small rituals you enjoy this time of year?
