Even though I’m hanging on to summer weather in Seattle for as long as I can, I’m finding myself slipping into the autumn mood more and more each day.
One of my favorite parts of fall is making the kitchen feel extra cozy. Lately we’ve been adding freshly grated nutmeg and a sprinkle of cinnamon to our homemade oat milk lattes each morning. I’ve been planning comforting seasonal meals, and yesterday my daughter Courtney baked an apple pie with a warm, fall-inspired flavor—the same recipe I’ve shared before—and it was delicious.
It’s really starting to feel like autumn around here. Do you have favorite fall traditions or recipes you always make this time of year?
