Coastal Cottage Paint Colors: Benjamin Moore & Sherwin-Williams Picks

I’m often asked about the paint colors throughout our home, so here’s an updated, easy-to-follow roundup of the shades we’ve used so far.

Before I share the colors, one important note:

Always test paint colors in your own home before committing. Lighting, nearby finishes, and the time of day can change how a color reads on your walls.

Peel-and-stick samples make testing simple and mess-free. I use them frequently to see how a color looks in different rooms and under different light. You can move them around until you find the right spot.

Most samples come in larger sizes so you can get a realistic sense of the color in your space. Below I’ve listed each color and where we used it.
