Just popping in to share something I’m really excited about: The Bloom Workshop. Created and hosted by Michaela and Ashley from The Sweet Season, Bloom offers hands-on creative workshops held in beautiful venues across the country. These events focus on blogging, social media, photography, styling and interior design—skills that work together to help your blog or creative business grow.
I wanted to make sure you had a chance to learn more (there’s a special discount if you register for any workshop or buy a gift ticket today), so take a look at the video and details below.
The Bloom Workshop is designed for creative women who want to learn practical, actionable skills. Sessions cover why and how to blog, social media best practices, design and styling techniques, and photography. Each workshop includes a styled photo shoot to practice new skills and a Q&A panel with industry experts. The goal is to provide real tools and inspiration to help you take your creative project or business to the next level.

I’m particularly excited about a new extended event next fall called Bloom Bash, a two-day immersive version of the Bloom workshops. I’ll be partnering with The Bloom Workshop as the keynote speaker in Seattle and will teach sessions on styling, blogging and social media throughout the event. We’ll also host a cocktail party and book signing on the first night that will be open to the public even if you don’t attend the full workshop. The Seattle Bloom Bash takes place October 8–9, 2015. Ticket details and the event schedule are available through the event listing.
About Bloom Bash
Bloom Bash aims to cultivate a community of creative entrepreneurs, bloggers and artists while providing the tools to grow their blogs and businesses. Over two days, attendees receive in-depth instruction on blogging, social media, photography, styling, design, florals and more. With a talented lineup of speakers, local partnerships and beautifully styled shoots, participants leave inspired and equipped with practical skills.

Running a creative business involves a steep learning curve. When I started blogging years ago, resources like these weren’t widely available. Bloom workshops are ideal for anyone in a creative field—whether you’re just starting or already established. Attendees make valuable connections with fellow creatives, gain actionable tips to improve their business, receive a curated swag bag, and get a personal headshot taken by a professional photographer—an offering that alone is often priced much higher. It’s a strong opportunity to invest in your craft and your network.

Special offer: For a limited time, workshop tickets are discounted (details vary by promotion). Many events include options such as two-person ticket bundles and shorter regional sessions called La Petite Bloom. Check available dates and formats to find the best fit for you.
Register for workshops and view full event information on the Bloom Workshop site and their social channels.
