Happy launch day for The Inspired Room book! I’ve enjoyed sharing my home and rooms here on The Inspired Room for the past eight years, and it’s been a true joy. Having the chance to turn this work into tangible books you can hold and display has been incredibly rewarding. This year I published two books, and I poured a lot of heart into each one. I hope you love them as much as I loved creating them.
With the books now out in the world, I’d love to see YOUR favorite room in YOUR home. As part of the launch celebration for The Inspired Room, I’m inviting you to share your own inspired rooms and to join a fun giveaway.
Many blogger friends have already shared their rooms, and others will do so over the next week or two. You don’t need a blog to participate—everyone is welcome.
Here’s how to participate:
There are three easy ways to share: 1) Post on your own blog, 2) Create a YouTube video, or 3) Share on the free community home-sharing site Home Love Stories. Simply upload a few photos of your inspired room and describe what the space means to you. Tell how the room has evolved, share a before-and-after, or share favorite stories about the space.
To celebrate the launch, the publisher is giving away a $300 Anthropologie gift card to one lucky winner and a set of copper mugs to four runners-up. See the entry details below.
How to enter the giveaway:
No purchase is required. To enter, create and share a post about your inspired room on your blog, YouTube, or Home Love Stories. In your post, please mention the new book, The Inspired Room, and note that you’re participating in the launch. Then fill out the entry form and include the URL of your post so it can be reviewed.
Make sure the URL you submit links directly to your post so it can be opened from the form. The giveaway closes on November 10th, so publish your entry and submit the URL by that date to be eligible.

Today is the official publication date, and I’d love to see the book in your home. If you find a copy in a store or receive one, please take a photo of it on your coffee table or bookshelf and share it on social media. Use the hashtag #theinspiredroom and tag me so I can see your photos.

If you don’t yet have a copy, it should be available at Barnes & Noble stores and online retailers. I hope it earns a place on your bookshelf or coffee table.
