House Tours
Greetings, friends! I’m delighted to join the week-long Summer Tour of Homes — 25 beautiful homes in total. I’m kicking off Day Three of the tour here. If you’re just arriving, be sure to check out Days One and Two and follow the other Day Three tours. You’ll find the full list of participants at the end of this post.

Many thanks to Gina at Shabby Creek Cottage for organizing this event and for inviting everyone to join a summer tour this Friday. Her post will have the link to join the hop.
Welcome to The Inspired Room! If this is your first visit, please say hello in the comments and tell me a little about yourself. After nearly six years of blogging, I still love the community of fellow home lovers who stop by. If you’re a regular reader, I’ve included some new photos just for you.
Come on in, make yourself at home, and enjoy the tour.
I’ve lived in this house for a few years and recently completed a kitchen remodel that I’m thrilled with. That said, I still have many plans and projects underway — a home is always a work in progress.
I enjoy decorating on a budget, using pieces I already own or find at a reasonable price, and I occasionally tackle DIY projects. Let’s take a look around.

You can find links to many of my projects and decorating updates on my house tour page and my Decorating 101 page. Feel free to browse, pin favorites, and come back later to explore more.
There’s a source page for items in the kitchen if you have questions about where things came from, paint colors, or project details, and you can see the full kitchen reveal there as well.

New to my kitchen is the oversized round cutting board from my sponsor Boxwoods Furnishings — I absolutely love it.

Our front door makeover brought new curb appeal and a welcoming entry.

I’m also passionate about outdoor rooms and small indoor/outdoor gardens.
And most importantly, our home is full of joy, partly because of our adorable pups.

We recently welcomed a new little sister for Jack named Lily — a sweet Australian Labradoodle who has stolen our hearts. I’ll share more photos and videos of her this weekend. Jack’s adventures will be on his dog blog and Facebook for anyone who wants to follow along.
Thanks for visiting today! You can find posts with more information about these rooms on my House Tour page or in the Decorating 101 series.

Come back again soon!
Be sure to visit the other beautiful homes on this tour, including Sandra from The DIY Show Off and Wendy from The Shabby Nest.
