Coastal Christmas Dining Room: Chandelier and Winter Table Decor

Navy Tablecloth

I’m sharing my dining room chandelier and table, simply decorated for the upcoming season. I like to start what I call “winter decorating” just before Thanksgiving so our home feels extra cozy and welcoming throughout the holidays.

We’ll be hosting family for both Thanksgiving and Christmas, so I keep the decor warm and inviting. A touch of greenery helps bridge Thanksgiving and the full Christmas season, while keeping the room calm and festive.

The space feels peaceful and ready for celebration. I set it up to reflect gratitude for the season and our blessings.

Below are the sources and details for the items I used in this dining room.

Centerpiece Details:

Seeded glass hurricane

Decorative bowl (I purchased mine online; availability can vary)

Decorative sedum or moss balls to add texture and natural color

Floating candles to create a soft, warm glow

Chartreuse taper candles for a subtle pop of color

Small brass bowls in playful shapes (fox and bunny) used as accent pieces

Bunny and fox bowls are styled with faux apples, dried orange slices, and pinecones gathered from the yard for a homey, seasonal touch

Simple wreaths on the windows frame the room and add greenery

Chandelier Decor Details:

A classic chandelier forms the focal point over the table

A delicate star garland wrapped lightly around the fixture adds shimmer

Faux cedar garland brings a soft evergreen scent and texture without maintenance

Plaid ribbon woven through the garland gives a traditional, cozy accent

Additional Details:

Gingham pillows on the bench create a casual, inviting seat; block-print pillows add pattern and character

A rattan lidded basket on the shelves keeps things tidy and introduces natural texture

Curated home and garden coffee table books add warmth and personal interest to the shelves

A small gingerbread village and paper trees or snowmen add playful, handmade charm to the display

A rattan cart styled with a lamp, a blue-and-white planter, and a small tree offers a versatile vignette that can be moved as needed
