Stylish Mirrored Closet Doors: Ideas, Installation & Maintenance

Happy Monday, friends! After sharing my master bedroom makeover recently, a lot of you asked whether we still have the mirrored closet doors. The answer is yes — they’re still in place.

I took a few quick phone photos last night so you could see them in the room (and Lily insisted on saying hello).

Replacing the doors is something I’ve thought about and I might tackle it down the road. For now I like the way the mirrors make the small room feel larger and brighter, and having a full-length mirror is handy for getting ready in the morning.

Updating these doors hasn’t been a priority, especially since I may have a future project that would require moving them anyway. The white frames work well with the room for the time being.

I do think one mirrored set is plenty in here. We have a second set on the opposite side of the room, and if I were to change just one, I’d replace the farther set to reduce reflections of people walking into the room and to avoid the mirror reflecting the hallway back into the space.

Hope that clears up the mystery of the mirrored doors!

Do you have projects around your house that are way down the list but you still plan to get to them someday?
