Happy New Year, friends! I’m so thankful you’ve been part of my home and blog this past year. It’s always fun to look back and gather some favorite posts and projects from The Inspired Room. Summing up twelve months of posts is a challenge, but here are highlights that inspired me in 2016.

While 2016 was full of dreaming and planning our home projects, 2017 will be a year of seeing many of those ideas come to life — or at least enjoying the progress we’ve made.

We also started painting our brick house white and continued work on our side yard. I shared a sneak peek of both as the projects progressed.

Creating our home office in the lower level — more progress to come in a full update soon.

From demo day in our small galley kitchen to the kitchen design board and decisions about cabinet color, window placement, and overall mood, we now have a nearly completed kitchen to share shortly.

Signature Style: My Dutch Door plans — and we now have two Dutch doors to show you.

My daughters’ townhouse entry and hallway makeover was another favorite project to document.
