HHello! I hope you had a great weekend. We drove down to Portland for a couple of birthday parties and just returned last night. It was a quick trip, but it was wonderful to reconnect with friends we hadn’t seen in years.
Today is the big day. As I mentioned in my recent kitchen update, we planned a surprise design change for the kitchen — and the moment to install it has arrived. There were so many clever guesses in the comments; I enjoyed reading them all.
I won’t keep you waiting any longer. The surprise is revealed: we are installing a round window above our sink. I’ll share more about why we chose to change the window and how I expect it to alter the space in a future update. For now, I wanted to gather and share a collection of inspiring photos that showcase round and oval windows in a variety of rooms and exteriors. Enjoy the ideas and design possibilities!
