Happy first week of fall — it’s time to welcome the cozy season.
Welcome to a fall home tour of our main floor. For those new here, we’ve lived in this home since the fall of 2021. We moved to the coast after selling our house in Seattle and becoming empty nesters. That same fall my parents moved in with us. In 2023 we completed a year-long renovation and added the Tiny Cottage to make our home comfortable for everyone.
Now, on our third autumn here, we finally feel settled. No more major renovations or moves — we’re staying put and enjoying the calm.
As a true HomeBody, fall is my favorite season to be at home.
I have some exciting news to share about our house — coming in the next week or so.

I finally brought home a pitcher I’d had on my wish list for a long time. It feels just right in the space.
Each morning I add cozy fall scents to the diffuser. It’s a small ritual that makes the whole house feel like autumn.
The new basket bed for Lily arrived and she seems to love nesting in the soft pillows and blankets. I still need to choose the perfect cushion, but for now she’s content with fluffy bedding.
