Hi friends, Courtney here. I’m excited to share a new addition to my small apartment—my new standing desk for working from home—and a personal update about some big life changes.
I’m getting married this summer! For the past few months my fiancé Dong and I have been deciding where we’ll live after the wedding. I currently live in a 500-square-foot one-bedroom apartment, and Dong has had his own place nearby. We recently found a new apartment together, and Dong moved in a few weeks ago so we can start setting it up before I move in after the wedding.
It’s been fun imagining our first home together. The new place is just a short walk from my current apartment, so I can move my things gradually between now and the wedding. I’ll share photos as we get settled!
Standing Desk for Working at Home
One thing we knew we wanted for the new apartment was a proper desk. There’s a tiny den that will be perfect for Dong’s desktop and a shared office area. I work from home full time for my mom and The Inspired Room, usually on a laptop, and I’ve always liked the idea of a standing desk for better posture and variety during the day.

FlexiSpot sent us one of their electric standing desks to try, and we’ve been very pleased. The brand has great reviews and the desk has lived up to expectations in both function and design.

Standing Desk Features
The model we chose is the Comhar All-in-One Standing Desk. For now I set it up in the corner of my living room, and it’s been wonderful to be able to stand while working instead of sitting all day. It will also be ideal for the den in our new apartment.
The desk is available in white or black; I picked the white with a tempered glass top and love its sleek look. FlexiSpot offers many styles, including wood and bamboo tops, so there are plenty of options to match different decor.

The desk is motorized and height-adjustable—raising or lowering it is as simple as pressing a button. You can sit or stand as needed and save up to four height presets for quick adjustments. I was impressed by the build quality on arrival, and assembly was straightforward; Dong and I put it together in minutes.
I also appreciate practical features like the deep drawer for storing office supplies and built-in USB ports for convenient charging while I work.

FlexiSpot’s lineup includes several options beyond full desks, such as tabletop converters that turn any surface into a standing workspace and desk-bike workstations for active use. These alternatives make it easy to find a solution that fits different needs and spaces.
I’m so glad to have this desk in my home setup. I’ll share more photos of our new apartment as we keep setting it up—follow along on Instagram for updates and apartment glimpses.
Thank you to FlexiSpot for providing this desk for our honest review.
