It’s been a while since I shared an Instagram Lately post. I love pulling together little glimpses of life behind the scenes and sharing updates from our family’s Instagram feeds here on the blog.
First, a big thank you and Happy Mother’s Day to my wonderful mom. And another thank you to my kids—you make your mama proud every single day.

Last week my girls and I enjoyed smoothie bowls during a breakfast meeting. They’re basically a fruit-and-yogurt smoothie served in a bowl and topped with fresh fruit and granola—delicious and wholesome.
Last Sunday our whole crew—humans and fur kids—drove out to Snoqualmie Falls. It’s only about 45 minutes from home, so it’s a great local escape.
The weather was beautiful, and it felt wonderful to be outside after a long winter. We spent time together enjoying the view.
If you watched Twin Peaks, this setting may look familiar—stunning scenery and a very picturesque Salish Lodge above the falls.
It was refreshing to get outside. The dogs had an absolute blast.
We had all four dogs with us and overheard someone say we looked like a circus—I agree, it was quite a sight walking four furry doodles!

Jack is a true homebody at heart. Lily loves being outdoors, but Jack seems happiest inside with his people.
Speaking of Jack, Friday was his sixth birthday—can you believe it? It feels like just yesterday we brought him home from the farm.
Rollers / Oils
Lately my girls and I have enjoyed making essential oil rollers. We use them daily—the happy roller blend has become a favorite and I even wear it like perfume. We don’t miss artificial scents or unnecessary chemicals in our home at all. If you’d like more details about the blends we use, I’m happy to share.
Blue skies and pink blossoms—spring is showing up everywhere.
Bench / Curtains / Shades
This weekend I got swept up in a redesign frenzy. I imagined fresh ideas for nearly every room in the house (except the kitchen—nope, not redoing that!). Expect to see updates in the coming weeks as I tackle small refreshes.
Chalkboard / Memo Board
I always mean to update the seasonal art on my chalkboards, but one still has fall leaves on it—typical!

Now that the kitchen is finished, I’m excited to focus on smaller projects. The guest room will get a light spring refresh, and I love watching how rooms evolve over time.

We’re considering a few subtle changes in another room soon—one small tweak often leads to more updates, like dominoes.
I haven’t forgotten to show the new floors in my office—hopefully that post will be up this week.

Someday I’d love a little gardening shed like this in the backyard. I don’t enjoy malls, but I adore plant nurseries.

It’s always a wild rumpus when the pups get together each week.
Our Lily has the sweetest face and disposition—she’s by far the calmest of our pups.
