Spring Decorating Ideas: Cozy Gatherings & Fresh Home Touches

HHello! Courtney (Melissa’s daughter) here. My mom and I have been talking about how excited we are for spring this year. Around Seattle we’re already seeing small signs of the season: more blue skies, warmer days, and the urge to spend time outside on our side patio. We’re also planning several spring refreshes around the house—simple updates that make rooms feel lighter and more inviting.

To get inspired, we put together a small early-spring decorating mood board. Spring refreshes don’t need to be big projects. Often it’s enough to pare down decor, swap a few pillows, add a new plant or bouquet, or introduce a fresh pop of color to brighten a space.

What are you looking forward to this spring? Any plans for your home? We’re setting up our new office and doing some spring organizing with an Ikea wardrobe—can’t wait to share the results.
