Having a charming bathroom has always been on my wish list. A few houses ago I had a bathroom very similar to this one, only with a different sink. That black sink is such a striking choice. My old bathroom was painted the same bright orange and I loved the cheerful burst of citrus color in the space. It felt fresh and fun.
But enough about bathrooms for now. I wanted to share a quick update about where I’ve been this week. If you follow me on Facebook, you may already know that my middle daughter needed an emergency appendectomy.
It was a frightening experience—seeing an ambulance take one of your children for urgent surgery is never easy. Thankfully she is recovering well, and I am hopeful she’ll be home by the end of the week, just in time to celebrate her 20th birthday. Thank you to everyone who sent prayers and good wishes; they meant a lot to us.
I do have a couple of posts scheduled to go out this week, but for the most part I’m away from my computer, staying with my daughter as she heals. We’ve been doing laps around the hospital in a giant gown and bright red socks, trying to keep spirits up. I appreciate your patience and will be back with more updates soon.
