HHello, friends! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We hosted this year and had family visiting from Portland for the weekend. I cooked turkey for eleven people, and we all worked together in our compact 1950s kitchen—peeling, chopping, and prepping side by side. The double oven in the Flair made life so much easier and was a hit with everyone.
After our meal, we baked a pecan pie and a pumpkin pie, then went down to the basement to watch old family films from when the kids were little. Moments like that remind me how grateful I am for family and home. I’ll share more about those films later this week. We’ve also been painting and will post an update next week.
