Hi friends! It’s hard to believe the holidays are almost here — December arrives quickly and with it, Christmas. I’m excited to share some easy, natural DIY gift ideas you can make at home.
Today’s post is full of simple DIY gifts you can prepare using essential oils and a few basic supplies.
Recently we hosted a live workshop in our private Dwell Well Collective group showing several of these projects. If you’re a member you may have seen the live session or the replay. If you’re not yet a member, consider joining to catch future workshops and get community support for wellness and DIY projects.
Below are the DIY gifts my girls and I made for that workshop, including recipes and ideas for containers, labels, and ingredient sources.
These gifts are beautiful, practical, and simple to make — perfect for holiday giving.
I use essential oils for much more than scent and crafts. High-quality oils can support wellbeing, and this time of year I’m especially attentive to keeping our family healthy.
Our oils are distilled from pure plants with no fillers. I appreciate seeing the process firsthand at the farms. These plant-based helpers are part of how we support our immune systems and overall wellness.

Making these items at home saves money and helps avoid harsh, unnecessary chemicals found in many commercial products. I haven’t been sick in years, and oils are a big part of our routine. If you’re curious about whether oils could help you or your family, reach out — I’d love to help and welcome you to our group.

Consider a starter essential oil and diffuser kit to begin experimenting with these DIYs and join our Dwell Well Collective wellness community.

Himalayan Salt Bath Soak
Combine equal parts pink Himalayan salt and Epsom salt in a small jar. Add 5–10 drops of your favorite essential oil (rose or lavender are lovely choices) and stir to combine. Add dried flower petals for a decorative touch. To use, pour into running bath water so the salts dissolve before stepping in.

DIY Tassel Diffuser
This project makes a versatile diffuser you can use as a keychain, car diffuser, or home accent.
