Christmas Candy Canes in a Jar
Several readers asked about the candy canes I used on my Christmas table, so I wanted to share this larger version since the candy canes are truly impressive—huge and cheerful. They’re store-bought but labeled as handmade, and yes, they’re edible.
Because these canes are so large they didn’t fit in a standard mason jar, I placed them in a hurricane vase instead. The display is instantly festive and playful, and it comes together in minutes. For the base I used “real” faux snow rather than the Epsom salts I sometimes use for a different texture and a softer look.
I found these oversized candy canes at Costco; they’re individually wrapped, which makes them great for gifting or attaching to packages as a sweet accent. They’re an easy, high-impact detail that brightens a table or mantel.
Love ’em!
