Fall is an especially busy season for our family, so creating systems and organizing our schedules is essential. In the small hallway outside my kitchen I keep our command center. I love it. It’s a simple magnetic chalkboard we use for urgent papers, printed school schedules, and sports calendars. It’s become the place we turn to for anything time-sensitive.
Honestly, without it?
I’d probably be THAT mom more often. The reason I set up a board like this is because I was THAT mom.
You know the kind — the mom who brought her son back to school three days before spring break actually ended.
The one who forgot to order school pictures two years in a row because the order form disappeared.
Yep. THAT mom.
If you’re at risk of being THAT MOM this fall, a command center might save you.
Seriously.
I’m over at The Decluttered Home today talking about one of my favorite topics >> organization and command centers!
Come chat with me and tell me if you are THAT mom!
