Hey friends! I didn’t get a formal Christmas tour published before the holiday this year, but we enjoyed a calm, lovely time with family—which is what truly matters.
Choosing to be present made the days feel rich and memorable.
I prepared plenty of tasty food, including gluten-free and vegan Sweet Potato and Kale Enchiladas that everyone enjoyed.
The cousins and grandpa played board games together, and our little family sat down to watch old home movies of when the kids were small.
We attended a Christmas Eve church service and drove through Seattle’s Candy Cane Lane to admire the twinkling lights.
One cozy evening we all curled up on the sectional downstairs to watch the Christopher Robin movie. It was simple and sweet—Jack loved it too.
We still have family staying with us, so we’ll spend a couple more days relaxing and enjoying each other’s company. I’ll be back soon to share a very simple home update that made me so happy, plus plans and house goals for the year and a few updates about my new book.
Enjoy these glimpses of our family Christmas. I’ll see you soon, friends!
