Did you watch the premiere of the new series HGTV’d last week? I wanted to tune in, but our TV wasn’t working. We’ve only had that flat-screen for about a year and a half, so I couldn’t believe it had stopped working already. Fortunately we bought it at Costco and it was covered by their two-year electronics warranty—so it got fixed and I’m back to watching my favorite shows like Sarah’s Cottage and the new HGTV’d.
With the TV working again, I’ll be tuning into the next episode of HGTV’d on Monday, June 13. Here’s a preview of what’s coming up:
The Mars family of 12 has repeatedly outgrown their home. With ten kids ranging from five to twenty, they’ve tackled several expansion projects, including a new kitchen. That left the old kitchen area unused and cluttered.
Designer Sabrina Soto takes on the challenge of transforming the empty space into a versatile, family-friendly room. She plans a mix of comfort and function, adding surprises like a fish tank, a custom coffee bar, a gaming area, a ping-pong table door, and rich textures and bold colors so the Mars family can fully enjoy their redesigned space.
