White Vanity
Hello, friend! If you remember, I’ve been undecided about what to do with my mint-and-pink bathroom. A few of you have asked whether we’ll renovate the bathroom this year. I really hope so—money is the main obstacle right now, but there are also functional and design questions to answer. I’m optimistic, though.
Not having an immediate solution can actually be a good thing. A slower timeline forces you to think more deliberately. While waiting can feel frustrating at times, it also encourages creative problem solving and helps you avoid rushed mistakes.
Working with a limited budget nudges you to consider what you already own and to imagine achievable changes that provide significant impact. It’s tempting to want a quick, perfect fix, but stretching your creativity often leads to better and more personal results.
So I’m taking my time with this room to make thoughtful choices rather than hurried ones. One helpful step for me is picturing how I want the space to feel and how the design will harmonize with the rest of the house. From that starting point I can gradually assemble ideas and options.
I haven’t had the chance to fully redesign a bathroom in years, so I’m excited to start dreaming again.
Today I’m sharing a roundup of vanities I love—different styles that inspire fresh directions for a remodel.
Anyone else planning a bathroom refresh this year?
