My husband and I are returning from a short but refreshing getaway. We spent two days exploring Vancouver, B.C., and then crossed the border to Bellingham, Washington, where we attended the Global Leadership Conference. The trip was energizing and a nice break from our usual routine.
As much as we enjoyed our time away, I’m a homebody at heart and I’m really looking forward to being back at home. There’s something very comforting about returning to familiar spaces, routines, and small home rituals that make everyday life feel grounded.
This week’s Home Style Saturdays lineup includes a lovely mix of inspiration for creating cozy, stylish living spaces as summer begins to shift toward fall. I can already see a few early fall posts rolling in, and I’m excited. Fall is my favorite season, and that means my annual Fall Nesting series will be coming soon. It’s always the highlight of my decorating year, full of warmth, layers, and subtle seasonal shifts that make a home feel ready for cooler weather.

Whether you’re planning small updates for a seasonal transition, looking for organization tips for a smaller room, or dreaming about a larger design refresh, these posts offer a variety of ideas to suit different tastes and budgets. I always appreciate how a few thoughtful touches—texture swaps, refreshed vignettes, and curated planters—can make a home feel new again without requiring a complete overhaul.
If you’re preparing for fall, consider starting with subtle changes: swap light linens for slightly heavier fabrics, introduce a few warm-toned accessories, and refresh your entryway with seasonal planters or a new doormat. For small bedrooms, focus on storage and multifunctional pieces to keep the space calm and uncluttered. And if you’re contemplating a bigger design shift, look for inspiration in home tours that combine styles you love in fresh, personal ways.
Happy Saturday, friends! I hope these selections inspire you to create comfortable, beautiful spaces as we move toward another cozy season at home.
