Funny Easter Photos: Celebrating Our Pup Jack with Laughs

I wanted to drop in with a few quick updates and share some happy news about Jack. First, thank you for the warm response to my tips on organizing children’s rooms — I’ll post the photo I featured in that article soon so everyone who asked (the one with the bus) can see it more clearly. I don’t have the original art source, but it could make a fun DIY project.

On Tuesday I’ll be revealing the finished kitchen. I’m thrilled it’s finally complete and can’t wait to share the results — stay tuned! Now for the fun Jack update and a funny Easter photo that’s completely unrelated but too good not to share.

Many of you already know and love Jack, so you’ll be excited to hear he’s a finalist in the Pup of the Year competition. He’s advanced through several rounds of voting and now faces one last contender, Hugo. It’s a close contest, but how can anyone resist Jack’s grin?

Jack has brought so much joy to our family and to many readers. I would love for him to earn the title of Pup of the Year. You can vote for him on Facebook under the “FINAL ROUND” section on the PureWow page. Voting closes Sunday night.

Whether he wins or finishes as runner-up, Jack remains a wonderful companion and I’m grateful for all of his friends and supporters. If you haven’t checked his blog lately, he’s had some very entertaining posts. You can find his blog on The Inspired Room and follow his Facebook page for updates. My personal favorite recent post is the humorous account of his encounter with his toy, Big Red.

Finally, a friend shared a hilarious photo of her twins with me and gave permission to share it here. At first they were all smiles and waves for the Easter Bunny — until they realized they were sitting on his lap. That discovery turned the scene into pure comedy. Their reactions are priceless.

Her children are adorable, and this little moment has given us all a good laugh on social media. I’m sure someday those twins will laugh about it too; it’s one of those classic family memories that never gets old.

Wishing you a joyful Easter weekend with loved ones, and a peaceful moment to reflect on the meaning and significance of that first Easter more than two thousand years ago.
