We’re savoring every sunlit moment here in the Puget Sound region — clear blue skies, warm light, and the soft gray-blue of the summer sea. The weather has been delightful, and we’re making the most of each sunny day.
This past week has been filled with salt air and simple pleasures: splashing in waterfront fountains at the marina, strolling along harbors, and taking in the breathtaking coastal views during trips to Victoria and Vancouver, British Columbia. Each outing has been a little gift of summer.

We soaked in the sparkle of the water and imagined the adventures waiting just beyond the horizon.

Across the land and sea, there are stories to discover and places to explore.

We paused to admire historic buildings and elegant architecture, letting those moments of awe sink in.

We took time to laugh and enjoy the street scenes — the little performances and chances to smile along the way.

There were quiet moments dreaming of green lawns and lush flowerbeds beyond white arbors and garden gates.

We smiled at whimsical details — a whale topiary, charming touches that make a place memorable.

Some views literally took our breath away, dramatic stretches of coastline and striking vistas that call you to pause and look.

We crossed friendly borders to explore new scenes, appreciating the small adventures that travel brings.

Both human and furry companions learned to embrace the moment, reminding us that life is what you make of it — near or far.

Whether by land or sea, at home or away, we’re celebrating the simple joy of being together and exploring new places.

These adventures and daydreams trace back to long ago on the shores of Puget Sound, a place that still inspires curiosity and a love of the sea.
