Im not exactly sure when I wrote my first “20 Little Things” list, but I remember a 2008 post titled “20 Little Things to Treasure in Autumn.” At first a list like this may seem trivial or a little silly, yet every time I make one it helps me shift into the rhythm of the season.
Making a list like this always makes me feel more grateful, more inspired, and more tuned in to what truly matters.
It really is worth doing. I promise.
Give it a try—make your own list, then link up your post at the bottom of this page. You can create a simple list on Facebook or anywhere else; you don’t need a blog. Let’s all join in. Your list doesn’t have to be fancy—plain and heartfelt is perfect. Be creative if you want, but the important thing is to do it and then come back to link up.
Before you write your list, leave a comment here to be entered into a special giveaway!

As a fall treat, one of my wonderful sponsors, Susabelle Home & Gift Boutique, is generously offering a collection of seasonal gifts to inspire and pamper you. What a sweet surprise!
The giveaway includes a fragrant fall candle, fall foliage note cards, a nourishing soy milk body lotion, and a charming cake stand kitchen towel—perfect little touches for nesting and welcoming the season.
If you’d like, please show a little thanks by liking the boutique on Facebook, and keep them in mind when you’re shopping for thoughtful fall or winter gifts.
To enter the giveaway, simply leave a comment on this post sharing your love of fall nesting!
Then add a link to your “20 Little Things You Love About Fall” list so we can all enjoy your ideas.
Come back for more from the fall nesting series and a special surprise from JACK. Also, if you missed it, check out my fall peacock feather wreath for another seasonal idea.
